McCormick Family website gets a face lift.  We have combined our separate Genealogy websites into one larger site.  The new design uses CMS (Content Management System) technology.  CMS allows us to easily add different types of content such as news-feeds, polls, news article formats, blogs, etc.

CMS  also allows us to open the site for contributions from other family members.  We hope that you will consider participating in this site and sharing your knowledge and experiences.  See the Author Pages for instructions.

Let us know what you think of our new site, and any suggestions you may have.

Mike Green of the Washington Capitals breaks the long standing NHL record for the most games scoring a goal by a defenseman at 8 games.  Mike is the son of Kathy McCormick-Green.

Mabel May Mollard, age 90 years, passed away peacefully at Stonewall Hospital on July 9, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Leslie in 1980.  Mabel was the eldest daughter of Tom and Alice Williams.  She will be remembered always for her guidance and generosity.  Many of her family members and friends benefited from her understanding and wisdom over her long life.

Michael Green, Son of Kathleen and David Green, was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft.  This is a tremendous honor that recognized his considerable hockey gifts.  Mike has many other accomplishments to his credit, including membership on Canada's gold-medal winning squad at the 2003 Under-18 World Junior Hockey Championships.  Good luck in the coming years, and congratulations from all your family all over Canada and USA.

Two new additions to the Families have been added in 2002, and some entries corrected.  The LeBlanc Family Welcomes Lauren and  the Stevens Family Welcomes Aliyah.  Look at the Family Registers for McCormick and for Rombough to learn more.

Jacques served in the U.S. Marines, enlisting as a private and eventually retiring as a Captain. He then founded a successful business with his lifelong partner Barb. He was an excellent genealogist who believed in documenting every fact properly. The following was written by the family of Jacques...
